PHILOSOPHY
Barefoot Wisewoman Health Center incorporates, TCM Acupuncture, Tui-Na, Cupping, Holistic Health Nutrition Consultations, Traditional Western deep tissue & other forms of massage therapy, & Body Wraps and Salt Scrubs along with aromatherapy. All these elements are provided to give a wide base of modalities with which to help your body reconnect with its built in ability to heal itself; my job is to restore its ability do so! Your job is to provide me with as many details as possible so I can develop the perfect individualized plan for you!
My clinic, Barefoot Wisewoman Health Center, is all about the COMMUNITY medicine aspect of health. From the affluent to the no- & low-income families, we treat them all. Prices are affordable and care is individualized. Using Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies, we work WITH you to help prevent illness & create an environment for your body to work better at dealing all kinds of imbalances and health issues. Sessions are by appointment only except on Acupuncture Community Clinic days, then it is "first come, first served". Come find out what true healing is all about!

Late & Cancellation Policy
At Barefoot Wisewoman Health Center we are committed to providing acupuncture in a way that makes it available and affordable to as many people as possible. Help us honor you by being on time. We start appointments within 5 minutes of your arrival. Being late causes us to be late for others, so if you are 10-15 minutes late, we charge an additional fee of $10. More than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment & charge an additional fee at the next visit. We appreciate your business and support, and therefore ask that if you need to cancel or change an appointment that you do so with a minimum of 24 hours notice. This way we are able to open up your time slot to be filled by another patient. Appointments can be changed any time up until the 24hr notice as our email and voice messages are checked regularly.
LATE FEES:

10-15 Minutes late: $10 additional fee

15 minutes OR more late: $15 & possible rescheduling
Patients who do not cancel within 24 hours or give notice of cancellation will be charged $35 in addition to any other fees at their next visit along with possibly needing to pay in advance for future visits.
ACUPUNCTURE - Initial Visit - $45
Please set aside up to 3 hours for this visit. There are several pages of information to fill out and your initial assessment sets the tone for the treatment choices for all future visits. Please wear comfortable clothing...easy to either push up or remove, if necessary.
ACUPUNCTURE - Follow-up/Add On Svc $25
Please set aside up to 2 hours as a follow-up session or an additional 30min as an addition to a main service. Choose this option for a follow-up or an add on acupuncture service to a main treatment such as Tui-Na, Western Massage, or Body Salt Scrub or Wrap
Tui-Na - Add on Svc - $30
Please set aside up to 1 extra hour for this visit. Choose this option as an addition to a main Acupuncture treatment.
Auriculotherapy - Ear Acupuncture - $35
Please set aside up to 1 hour for this visit. There will be a brief interview the first visit.
Western THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE - $60
Please set aside 1.5 hours for this massage so that you can get the FULL 60 minutes of massage.
HOLISTIC NUTRITION COUNSELING - $25
This is rarely a single event, so should you opt to do this by itself the price remains the same.
